• February Focus

"At bottom every man knows well enough that he is a unique being, only once on this earth; and by no extraordinary chance will such a marvelously picturesque piece of diversity in unity as he is, ever be put together a second time."

    - Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, was a 19th-century German philosopher and classical philologist.

I love this quote because it reminds me to appreciate what, who and where I am, in every situation. We all too easily get side tracked by what isn't and thereby cast a shadow on our very own light! At the core of happiness is a sense of appreciation for all that is, in every case. It is our choice, whether to appreciate or to complain, to be happy or to be upset. This doesn't mean we go around not noticing injustices, but it means that we choose to expand on the positive, to shed more light instead of casting a shadow.

Getting back in touch with our core, we're going to focus on our midline, abdominals, our center, for the month of February! I promise you will be thankful..., but it just may be next month. :)
